Strategic Planning Starts With a Capacity Check

👀 Before you lock in your 2026 goals, let me ask you something I always ask my clients as their OBM:
Do you (and your team) actually have the capacity to execute this plan—well?
It’s easy to map out ambitious goals, but too often I see business owners skip a crucial step: checking in on what’s already happening behind the scenes.
✨ Before diving into Q1 launches, content calendars, or new offers, I walk clients through a simple capacity review:
What tasks are non-negotiable each week?
Who owns what across the team?
Where is there true availability—and where is there quiet overload?
From there, we can spot bottlenecks, adjust timelines, and plan in a way that respects your reality (not just your ambition).
💭 So if you’re planning content, launches , or ops for Q1, ask yourself:→ Is there actual space for this?→ Are we building this plan based on capacity—or just hope?
Because here’s the truth: strategic planning only works when it’s grounded in reality. That’s the starting line I always recommend.
